Miami, Fort Lauderdale or BOTH

If your looking to stay in the states for Spring Break, Florida is definitely the place to go! A few weeks ago my friends and I traveled to Miami for Spring Break. We stayed at a hotel called Newport Beachside Resort in North Miami Beach. The location of the hotel was perfect because it was directly between Fort Lauderdale and South Beach Miami. Traveling to either location was quick with about a fifteen minute drive either way. The beach at our hotel was gorgeous with light sand and crystal blue water it was easy to relax during the day. Nightlife was fun and entertaining in both South Beach Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The Mansion and Nikki Beach were two exotic clubs we went to in South Beach. These places were lively, yet sophisticated and were well known for their attraction to celebrities. The Art Bar and Off the Hookah were two bars we traveled to in Fort Lauderdale. These two bars were filled with college students from all over the country. The atmosphere in Fort Lauderdale was more laid back and casual then South Beach. In Fort Lauderdale we met students that went to Susquehanna University, a college 30 minutes from Bloomsburg! Newport Beachside Resort was a perfect location for spring break because it gave us more than one option for city nightlife.
